Cory, Maddox's dad--Maddox likes baseball, so we practice spelling each word when we play pass. Each time we pass the ball, we say a letter until the word is spelled. When we finish spelling the word, I throw Maddox a pop-up. He really likes this.

Welcome to the 4th Grade!
Returning to school is such a wonderful time of year! I am very excited to be working with each student and family as we study Language Arts and Social Studies. In our 4th grade classroom, we will be working very hard each day reading, writing, and learning many new things. I look forward to meeting you very soon! Reading is my favorite hobby! I love to read all kinds of books--fiction, nonfiction, biographies, etc. I can't wait to meet my new students and hear about their favorite books and hobbies!
